Throughout my career, my primary motivation has been to help people to realise their potential – both by working with people 1-1 and by managing larger scale projects.
Having studied health and welfare as part of my degree, I have always been passionate about wellbeing and, over the years, I have used a variety of techniques to support people, including counselling and coaching. A few years ago, I was very excited to ‘find’ solutions focused therapy, as I think it is practical and clear; helping people to quickly take positive steps forward. I am pleased to be able to help people to take back control and be the best version of themselves. It is such a rewarding job as you see so much change in your clients.
Sessions are based on the most recent evidence emerging from neuroscience, combined with the very best elements of Solution Focused Therapy techniques, Brain Based Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Psychology (CBT) and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). This means that I am able to help people with a wide range of issues and my clients say that they find sessions relaxing and enjoyable.
I have undertaken training in Counselling, Coaching, Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, as well as Solutions Focused Therapy. I am also a member of professional associations and abide by their codes of conduct e.g. the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH) and I am listed on the Government’s Professional Standards Register.
